Kay Dameron

Kay Dameron

Veterinary Training & Enrichment Manager

Kay Dameron has been working with animals from a young age and has dedicated her career to helping dogs and their people build strong, trusting relationships. In 2014, she began fostering for Austin Pets Alive and English Springer Rescue, where she quickly saw the powerful difference that thoughtful, science-based training can make—especially for dogs navigating change, stress, or new environments.

Kay is passionate about helping families better understand their dogs and believes that clear communication is the foundation of lasting behavior change. Her approach is rooted in positive reinforcement and focuses on building confidence, practical skills, and healthy relationships for both dogs and their guardians.
When she’s not working with dogs and their families, Kay enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and painting.
